During the September school holidays, our AMS team headed off to Johannesburg for the annual soccer tournament. After weeks of training and dedication, their performance this year resulted in three teams qualifying for knockout stages after a grueling round-robin schedule. Our u11s made the Cup Final but narrowly lost 0-1 v hosts APAX. Out of the 56 games that were played, our teams won 29 games, drew 8 and had 19 defeats. The total goal difference was +26. Safe to say it was a very successful tournament for our students and we thank them, our teachers, coaches and parents who all played a vital role in this tournament.
