The final round of “The Future Khateeb” public speaking competition took place at the Town Centre Mosque in Mitchells Plain where three of our learners participated and excelled in their various categories. Contestants had to choose to speak about respect, the Prophet’s (SAW) kindness or the importance of time in Ramadaan. Students were judged on their presentation, eloquence, content, and dress. Well done to the following students who made us proud:
Category A (age 7 to 9 years):
2nd position – Muhammad Yaqeen Hoosen (Gr 1D)
3rd Position – Zaid Moolla (Gr 1D)
Category B (age 10 to 12 yrs):
2nd position – Sa’ada Yahaya (Gr 6B)
