After a tough competition and weeks of scrutinizing every detail of the weeks’ Cape Argus, our Boys High team came in 3rd place. Although not the win they wanted, getting to the final is a great achievement and an experience they won’t forget. Participating in the annual quiz competition encourages critical thinking and awareness of what’s happening around the world, whether it be international and local news, sport, politics or entertainment. We hope this will spark the interest of the participants’ peers to take part next year and in general, be aware of the world around them and develop an enticement for staying up to date with current events apart from its usage in a school syllabus setting.
