Our high school students had the privilege of going on a school tour to Turkey during the school holidays. From the 13th March to the 27th March, these students embarked on an unforgettable journey filled with insight into the rich history, architecture and beautiful surroundings of Turkey.
Geography teacher, Mrs Nazlia Rayned, accompanied the learners on this exciting trip:
“This tour was aimed at highlighting key geological gems within the region of Turkey such as Kusadasi ie Ephesus, Pamukkale ie Travertines, Fethiye ie Aphrodisias and Cappadocia to mention just a few. The learners were given the opportunity to apply their theoretical understanding of the current syllabus. The tour proved extremely fruitful for both the learners and the teachers. We hope that there will be many more tours such as these in the future.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Trustees for their support and for Malek Tours for making this tour possible”
