Speech & Drama
The international drama programme that we offer emphasises self-development, on-going confidence building and verbal communication. We do this in three ways: voice work (speech training) which we do in a fun way with articulation, projection, forward placing, jaw, lip and tongue exercises in every lesson. We do creative movement every week with the aim of the movement segment to help children improve coordination and physical awareness. The main part of each lesson is the creative, improvised mini play. Each term, we introduce language, performance and theatre skills. At the end of the year the children work on a production performed in a theatre.
